A BURNLEY man who tried to dodge paying a £3.70 rail fare has been fined £400 by magistrates.
Jordan Lord, 22, of Dean Street, attempted to travel between Burnley Barracks and Accrington for free on January 31.
Hyndburn magistrates found Lord guilty, in his absence, and ordered him to pay £3.70 compensation, and £100 in costs.
