Pendle MP Andrew Stephenson has condemned South Korea's decision to begin whaling for scientific purposes. The Tory backbencher said: “I believe scientific whaling is merely commercial whaling by another name. Whaling is cruel and unnecessary and that there is no humane way to kill a whale.”
