STAFF at Airedale Hospital will be competing in the ‘Airelympics’ this summer.
A programme of activities has been organised by staff around a ‘get active, get fit, have fun’, theme.
Justine Steele, director of organisational development and workforce at the hospital, which takes 10per cent of admissions from Burnley and Pendle, said all trust members will be encouraged to participate.
She said: “Each department is being asked to create a challenge which they will host for other teams to take part in.
“They will also, as a team, take part in the activities being hosted by other departments.”
An events calendar and leader board have been produced, and an ‘Airelympics’ awards ceremony will take place on August 22.
