THE first restaurant set up by an East Lancashire celebrity chef could be converted into flats.
A bid to convert the The Longridge Restaurant in Higher Road, Longridge, has been submitted for approval to Ribble Valley Borough Council.
The business, which opened in 1990, was the first restaurant set up by celebrity chef Paul Heathcote.
The plan has been submitted put together by applicant Matt Bird representing the trustees of Heathcotes Pension Scheme.
Residents have been asked to send their opinions on the project to the council before a final decision is taken.
