A FOLK and rock night raised more than £900 for Rossendale Hospice.
The event, hosted by Rawtenstall’s Spring Terrace Folk Club, and held at Haslingden St Mary’s Football Club, raised £932 in total.
A spokeswoman for the hospice said: “Thanks to Haslingden St Mary’s FC who provided the room and made the suppers, and all the artist from Spring Terrace Folk Club.
“Thanks to Peter Benbow, who provided the sound system, as well as playing on the night. And thanks to Ian Walkden, the organiser and compere.
“Thank you to the people who donated raffle prizes, and for a collection bucket from the Spring Terrace Folk Club which raised over £300.”
