HAPPA shrinks expansion bid
AN animal charity has scaled back its plans for expansion.
The Horse and Ponies Protection Association, in Shores Hey Farm, off Halifax Road, Briercliffe, was given planning permission to extend its indoor arena in February.
The centre was due to expand to by 972 square metres, but the organisation said that had been revised to ‘reduce costs’.
Burnley Council planning officers have approved the amendments.
