BURNLEY Council has approved an amendment to a cycle path near Burnley Bridge Business Park.
The proposed path, which was initially approved in March as part of wider redevelopments, will link the business park with the existing greenway in Padiham.
The revised submission will see a bike restriction barrier added to one end of the path to prevent motorcycles from accessing the site, at junction nine of the M65.
The galvanised steel barriers will be fitted with anti-tamper fixings and set in concrete bases.
In his report, Graham Thorpe, the council’s principal planning officer, said: “Providing the alterations are carried out, I can confirm that the proposals do not raise new planning issues.”
