Artist visits college
AN ARTIST visited students at the town’s St Mary’s College to show her work and techniques to AS and A-Level students Pat Southern-Pearce, from Blackburn, spoke about her own pieces, the work she has done with primary children and how as a group they were inspired by music to create artwork.
The students heard how after eight years as a teacher, Pat began running art conferences, courses and workshops for teachers and classroom assistants.
