Parish makes clean-up call
READ Parish Council has decided to enter the Best Kept Village Competition this year.
The village has won in past years and has previously received new wooden benches as prizes.
The parish council has called on all villagers keep their own area clean and tidy or volunteer to clean up any grot spots in the village.
Judging will take place from June 7.
