A PENDLE school has maintained its good rating after an interim inspection by Ofsted.
The education watchdog visited Higham St John’s CE Primary School in March and assessed pupils’ attainment and progress. In a letter to parents earlier this month, Sir Michael Wilshaw, Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector, said: “I am pleased to inform you that the interim assessment of your child’s school indicates that the school’s performance has been sustained.
“As a result, the next full inspection will not take place before the summer term 2015. I wish everyone involved in the school continued success in the future.”
