Assault denied
A 21-year-old man is facing trial at Burnley Magistrates Court. Samuel Bullock, of Selby Street, Nelson, has denied two counts of assault by beating and one of criminal damage, on May 24 and 25, at Nelson. He was bailed until July 22,
