A family fun day
VILLAGERS in West Craven have pulled out all the stops to make sure that their annual celebration draws in the crowds.
New fairground rides, arts and craft stalls, a street dance display, a ‘top quality’ barbecue, a tea tent featuring a range of tipples and donkey rides have all been lined up for Salterforth Fun Day, which takes place on Sunday, June 8.
The fun, including the village’s popular drag race, an all-day DJ and kids games, will begin at noon on the playing field off Kelbrook Road and everyone is welcome.
