Community farm set for open day
PENNINE Lancashire Community Farm will hold an open day at March Street Community Gardens, Burnley, on June 25.
The event will run from 11am to 3pm, and will be followed by the group’s AGM at the Library Building in Colne Road from 7pm.
The organisation, which promotes sustainable living, is celebrating its fifth birthday. In that time, it has helped 100 people into work and improved the physical and mental wellbeing of more than 300 users.
