Puppets galore at annual festival
THERE will be puppets galore in Bacup this week as the annual Horse and Bamboo puppet festival takes place.
This year’s festival includes seven paid-for shows, including ‘The Frog and the Princess’, and ‘1001 Nights’.
There will aso be an array of free activities, including craft workshops, music, Punch and Judy shows, walkabout performances, plus a festival parade.
The festival runs from Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1.
Tickets are £7 for paid-for shows, and other activities are free.
