Proms series starts at church
GOSPEL to Gershwin is the next in the series of popular concerts at Christ Church, Chatburn.
The concert is the first in the fundraising series of summer proms, and will take place on Friday, July 4 from 7.30pm.
It will include live music performances by some of the region’s top artists, including The Three Valleys Gospel Choir, The Pendle Jazz Men and jazz legend Eric Ainsworth.
Tickets are £8, including light refreshments, and are available by calling 01254 384893 or 01200 441624, or from Roy Porter Butchers Chatburn.
All proceeds go towards the church fund for the creation of disabled and child-friendly toilets and kitchen in the church.
