REHEARSALS are under way for the final play in the Garrick’s 2013/14 season, the fast-paced thriller 39 Steps.
The play has been adapted by Patrick Barlow, from the novel by John Buchan and directed by John Cummings.
The 39 Steps is a man-on-the-run adventure novel which first appeared as a serial in Blackwood’s Magazine in August and September 1915, before being published in book form in October that year in Edinburgh.
The play will be presented at the ACE Centre, Nelson at 7.30pm from Wednesday, May 14, to Saturday, May 17.
