Abdul Ahad, 18, is facing a jail sentence after appearing at Burnley Crown Court. Ahad, of Kent Street, Burnley, had earlier admitted possessing crack cocaine with intent to supply, and had been committed for sentence by Pennine magistrates. His case was adjourned until May 19, and he was warned by Judge Beverley Lunt: “You should be preparing yourself for a prison sentence. Prison is the most likely outcome, and it will be a significant period.”
