Increase in anorexia in Northwest
THERE has been an eight per cent increase in the number of patients admitted to hospitals in the North West due to eating disorders, according to new figures.
Statistics published by the Health and Social Care Information Centre showed there were 4.7 episodes per 100,000 of the population, which matched the national average.
