New jobs hope as firm eyes move to Blackburn
A FIRM has revealed plans to almost double its workforce.
JRT Holdings (UK) Limited has just bought land in Lower Philips Road, on the Whitebirk Industrial Estate near Blackburn and hopes to get planning permission to build a warehouse so it can move from its current premises at Rosewood Business Park.
In documents handed to Blackburn with Darwen Council, the company said the move would see its full-time workforce increase from four to seven.
The company also expects its turnover to increase from the £5.5m it made in 2012, the documents revealed.
