Changes could improve care in Lancashire
COUNTY council health chief Azhar Ali said plans to integrate medical and social care services could lead to ‘great improvements’ in Lancashire.
Lancashire County Council and East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) have launched several initiatives to improve integration. Coun Ali, chairman of Lancashire Health and Wellbeing Board, said: “These plans have the potential to lead to great improvements in health care.”
