A TV presenter and podcast star has joined the cast of Dragons' Den.
The BBC has revealed that entrepreneur and broadcaster Jamie Laing will join the desk of experts in the long-running show.
Laing will be a guest Dragon for the 2027 series alongside a refreshed panel of returning and new investors.
Jamie Laing joins cast of BBC Dragons Den for 2027 series
Mr Laing said: "I'm incredibly excited to be joining the Dragons and meeting the entrepreneurs brave enough to step into the Den.
"Building businesses has been such a huge part of my journey, and I know first-hand what it feels like when people don't believe in your idea, that sting stays with you.
"So I want to be the Dragon who does believe, who sees not only what's possible in someone's business even when others might not but sees the potential in the entrepreneur.
"There will always be challenges, mistakes and moments of doubt along the way, but they're often the most valuable experiences you can have.
"I can't wait to bring my own perspective to the Den, ask the right questions, share what I've learned, and help the entrepreneurs we meet take their businesses to the next level."
Mr Laing is known for co-founding Jampot Productions and Candy Kittens, one of Europe’s fastest-growing confectionery brands.
He has also expanded into the food sector through the acquisition of Graze.
Alongside his business ventures, Mr Laing hosts two chart-topping podcasts—NewlyParents and Great Company—and has appeared on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing.
He also raised more than £2 million for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day in 2025 by completing five consecutive ultra-marathons, covering more than 150 miles from London to Salford.
His addition comes as long-standing Dragon and retail entrepreneur Touker Suleyman is leaving the show after 10 years.
At age 72, he stated it was time "for new blood to take my seat" and to reflect on what matters most and plans to dedicate more time to mentoring the entrepreneurs and businesses he has already invested in.
Who are the main cast of Dragons Den?
Mr Laing joins a Dragons Den line-up that includes main stars Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett.
Susie Ma, Gary Neville, and Jenna Meek will also return as guest Dragons.
The new series has been described by Samantha Davies, Executive Producer, BBC Studios Entertainment, as "one of the most exciting line-ups ever to enter the Den."
