Aldi has revealed the locations for 10 new stores opening in 2027.

The sites are part of the supermarket’s £900 million investment programme, which includes plans to open 40 new stores across the UK next year.

Managing director of national real estate at Aldi UK, Jonathan Neale, said: "We're continuing to invest significantly across the UK as we progress towards our long-term ambition of 1,500 Aldi stores.

"These new locations are part of our £900 million investment programme for 2027 and will help us bring Aldi's award-winning quality and unbeatable value to even more communities.

"We're excited to take the next step in our expansion plans and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors of these new stores in the years ahead."

The first locations confirmed for new Aldi stores in 2027 are:

  • Bridgend, South Wales
  • Clapham, South London
  • Exmouth, Devon
  • Halifax, West Yorkshire
  • Haywards Heath, West Sussex
  • Ivybridge, Devon
  • Kew, South West London
  • Ryde, Isle of Wight
  • Winnersh, Berkshire

Aldi currently has 1,095 stores in the UK, with the aim to reach 1,500.

Aldi opening 27 new UK stores before Christmas

This latest investment forms part of Aldi’s broader growth strategy, with another 27 stores due to open before the end of 2026:
