A dramatic punch is set to shake the cobbles in an explosive street brawl.

The sneak peek has revealed that Ronnie will tell Carl he's thinking of stealing Idris' car to pay back Fiona for a missing gun.

In Wednesday's episode (September 2), Idris then reports his car as stolen

He accuses Ronnie of stealing his car, and punches him to the floor in a dramatic fight scene, leaving viewers wondering if he will seek further revenge.

Elsewhere on the street, Shona faces a moment of panic when she nearly loses baby Harper after accidentally leaving her in the car.

She rushes outside to find Daniel cradling the child.

Romance also takes a turn as Bethany and Roman’s second date falls apart.

Bethany's mood sours when Jodie arrives with Kit and begins openly flirting.

Bethany loses her temper, cutting the evening short.

Kit is in for more emotional turmoil when Gemma delivers distressing news about Celeste, prompting the revelation of a shocking family secret.

Betsy’s first outing following her stroke ends in embarrassment at the bistro.

She drops cutlery and is left mortified when Debbie jokes that she’s drunk.



Debbie, who viewers know was diagnosed with dementia in April 2025, becomes the centre of concern in another scene.

Maria finds her in the salon giving Bethany a full 80s makeover.

Bethany plays along to avoid upsetting Debbie, but when she picks up scissors, Maria steps in to prevent any harm.

Debbie then looks at the scissors in confusion before hurrying out of the salon.

Coronation Street continues to air weeknights at 8.30pm on ITV and ITVX, but it will not air on Tuesday, August 25 due to a football match being shown on ITV1.

Instead, fans can look forward to an episode on Sunday, August 30 at its usual time of 8.30pm.
