All 5 Dragons offered an investment into the Toucan giving app on Thursday's Dragons' Den before 4 pull out in a dramatic TV moment.

The Dragons were impressed with the giving app Toucan so much so that Dragon Touker Suleyman proposed a five-way deal where his offer was dependent on the other investors.

Mr Jones agreed to offer £17,000 for 2% with Sara Davies, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett following close behind.

The giving app came in asking for £85,000 but the historic investment would have them giving up 3 times the stake they were looking to giveaway.

Both Steven Bartlett and Peter Jones offered the full £85,000 for a 10% stake in separate proposals.

In the end, the entrepreneurs didn't want to give up that much of their company and revealed that the Dragon they came in for was in fact the Den's newest investor.

The pair appealed to Bartlett, asking him to lower his stake but it didn't go across well in the Den.

Peter Jones immediately said he was out and the rest of the Dragons followed - except for one.

Luckily for Toucan, the entrepreneurs agreed on a single deal with Steven and they didn't walk away empty-handed.

Fans reacted on social media after the mind-blowing TV moment.

One viewer wrote: "Never go in the den and let the dragons know that you only came for a specific dragon. That will blow your chances of getting any deal."

While another commented: "Take five dragons and raise the profile and awareness. In turn that would surely raise more for the charities?"

A third responded: "Watching Dragons Den and two entrepreneurs got a 5 dragon offer for 10% of a company and they had the cheek to try and barter them down… now I’m not a business woman but that’s not clever it’s stupid!"

Live tweeting the episode, Steven Bartlett said: "My objective, honestly, is to be fair. I probably could have gone for 10%, but you want both parties to walk away feeling good about the deal."

Dragons' Den airs at 8 pm on Thursdays on BBC One.
