Every day of the week I see cyclists (some, not all) acting with complete disregard for the safety of others (‘Time we turned on motorists’, LT Letters, July 25).

Every day I see cyclists act with care and consideration.

Ten pedestrians were killed by cyclists and 262 seriously injured between 2005 and 2009, official figures say.

Small numbers compared to motor vehicle accidents, but clearly there are bad cyclists just as there are bad motorists.
