IF the Argentine government is hell-bent on carrying out their threats of legal action if any country should ‘trespass’ in the waters around the Falklands, there is one solution that could prevent this.
Maybe the government should consider repatriat-ing all Argentine nationals from their respective countries.
Of course, that would mean all ambassadors from these countries would have to be recalled – that should be enough to scare them off any action.
Does anyone remember the scene from ‘The Italian Job’ between Michael Caine’s character and the mafia don on the Italian mountain road? Think about it, Argentina.
A Holden, Darwen.
