I WANT to publicly thank Gary Mullen for his kindness, and fabulous performance recently at King George's Hall.

My son and I even had the privilege of meeting Gary before his outstanding tribute to Freddie Mercury and the music of Queen.

It would have been a flawless night if not for drunken yobs in the row behind us who marred his show by being obnoxious and very drunk.

Those unfortunate to be sitting around them know exactly what I mean.

One lady and her group even moved after having beer poured on her.

When I complained during the intermission, I was told to just move.

Fair enough since there were some empty seats scattered about.

However, I was appalled that these troublemakers were not even spoken to, or better yet, escorted out and barred.

When I told them off at the end of the show when chairs were being slammed into the back of my legs, I was just laughed at by these delinquents and things got worse.

I will not be returning to King George's Hall for any event until there are stricter security controls, no booze is allowed in from outside and/or bad behaviour is checked.

It's a shame that this exceptional show was marred by these morons.
