ON Sunday, September 10 my wife and I walked through Pleasington Playing Fields shortly after the Sunday League football matches finished.
The amount of litter left behind by these so-called sportsmen was an absolute disgrace.
The first pitch over the Blue Bridge was littered by 15 to 20 empty plastic water bottles.
It should not be a matter of rocket science to trace which teams played on this pitch.
Once traced by the Sunday League both teams be fined, if not financially, then by the deduction of points.
