THE LT and its readers strike again! (Disabled car park fee axed, September 8).
Well done to all the LT readers who made their voices heard with regards to the car parking at the new Royal Blackburn Hospital.
It would seem that the powers that be at the hospital have seen the light and are changing their policy over disabled parking.
All the disabled drivers and passengers were after was a little consideration with regards to using the car park.
Now it would seem commonsense has prevailed and with a little more thought and planning the whole problem of parking for the disabled at the hospital can be resolved permanently.
Well done to all concerned, it shows what a little pressure in the right place can do.
