I WAS totally amazed/ shocked to see Steve Cram apparently saying that use of cocaine and ecstasy for ‘recreational use’ by athletes should not attract the same penalties as performance-enhancing drugs.
Sport is a recreation, drugs aren’t. The two should not be mixed or confused. Drug misuse kills.
Whatever happened to ‘winners don’t do drugs’?
Keep sport clean.
