Who rearranged the traffic sequence at the centre of Darwen Circus?
The poor bus drivers have now to put up with two hazards.
First of all, I asked a councillor if they could arrange for a white marking on the pavement outside NatWest bank and the facing island.
People don’t think about this being a one-way route for the buses coming from the cemetery, and just step in the road.
I use this bus route every day and the poor drivers are always doing emergency stops.
Now, another hazard has been added – having to watch for the main traffic from the left coming across from the Post Office lane.
Why should they have to wait for these – surely their time schedule is more important than ordinary cars and traffic?
Darwen takes a back seat again!
An Oldie.
