I WAS very upset about the circus elephant (LT, April 4).

I am glad it has been brought to light and the chappie has been fired.

Poor animal: I hope the RSPCA has been informed.

I hope things are checked.

I don’t believe in circuses.

You would think it would be out of date in this day and age.
