BLACKBURN with Darwen's roads are in a disgusting state, crumbling and collapsing in some areas.
There is a desperate shortage of play areas for young children (unless you live on a council estate) and there are numerous unadopted' roads in the borough which are unfit for either vehicle or foot.
The place is still strewn with litter when you look outside the town centre and yet, still the councils want to waste thousands of pounds on a totally unnecessary street lamp at Sudell Cross, Blackburn.
I'm sorry, but the mind just boggles!
