ONCE again I must point out the disgraceful state of Plane Street, Blackburn.
Nothing is being done about the building site that is a dump and a breeding ground for rats.
As a regular user of the street I see plenty of scavenging vermin eating the waste food and running through the rubbish that has been dumped there.
Children going to school and mothers with babies in prams who have to pass this tip.
What would happen if one of these rats jumped out at one of these people, and what if one got in the houses and food shops?
So what are the council doing regarding this sorry state of affairs?
It has now gone beyond a joke when people's health is put at risk.
MR G PILKINGTON, St Michael's Court, Blackburn.
