I AM a blonde female driver of a convertible and I just felt the need to point out to Helen Mead that we drivers of convertibles are not smug, it's just that our cars are so lovely to drive, especially with the top down, that they make us smile.
Surely this can't be a bad thing. If more people smiled when driving we wouldn't have so much road rage about.
Have a test drive in one, with the top down of course, and I promise you will be converted.
