MONDAY, June 12 was a red-letter day on the Montague estate, Blackburn.
The windows on the stairwell were cleaned for the second time since Twin Valley took over.
The walls and stairs in the stairwell have been repainted once in 42 years.
When the lights are on you can see the ledge under the large window is black.
The rust from the cross girder also shows through the plaster.
I wonder what happened to the idea of "respect." Regarding this flat, the only service I have noticed since Twin Valley took over is replacement of one lavatory chain and one window catch.
The situation on Johnston Street is far removed from this estate.
