While the recriminations of the MPs’ expenses debacle continues, I took the liberty of looking up a few of our union leaders’ pay and perks.
They commonly get wage and pension packages in excess of £100,000 per annum. Are you a member of a union? Do you earn this amount?
Many unions pay large salaries and expenses not only to their general secretary, but also to other officials, elected and non-elected. These figures are thus only the tip of the iceberg.
Are you getting value for money? I am a little more than surprised at these figures.
