In view of a history of terrorism-related arrests in Blackburn, including the high profile armed stopping of a car on Preston Old Road, I think it was perfectly acceptable for me to call 999 when hearing Islamic chanting through a megaphone after midnight, rather than my local police station.
Had we been forewarned that this event was taking place, I might not have been so alarmed!
Please continue to enjoy your ceremonies, as I do not object, so long as you don’t broadcast them into my bedroom!
