IT is an absolute disgrace that Jack Straw has denied Ronnie Biggs early parole.
He has served his time, he gave himself up when he came voluntarily back to Britain in 2001.
He is now an old man, very ill and frail. So what little time Ronnie has left he should be allowed to spend it with his family.
No doubt his son will appeal for his father to be set free.
Where is the justice in this world when scumbags who killed the likes of Ben Kinsella (case June) and Gary Newlove (August 2007) get only a few years and are then allowed out after only doing half of their sentence?
If a petition was set up to get Ronnie free, I’m sure thousands and myself included would sign. Come on, Mr Straw, what possible harm can he do now?
