I AM a regular bus user on the No 1 route and 225. However, since the changes to the timetables we now only have four buses per hour, not as logic would think one every 15 minutes.
The No 1 leaves the circus for the cemetery at a minute before the hour, the next is at 24 minutes past. We still have the ludicrous situation of the 1 and 225 coming in practically together.
Some unnamed body posted a notice in the shelter at the bus station stating that the No 1a and No1b go to the cemetery. They don’t – they turn back at the Circus to go to Blackburn.
Also, we are still waiting for the new notices to be put in the shelters en route. I understand this is the responsibility of the council. These changes took place on February 22 – how much longer before they get round to doing it?
April 1 is rapidly approaching. Perhaps then?
