ON Sunday I was in a Blackburn pub, the Fox and Hounds, waiting for the kick-off of the big match between Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers.
The pub was, of course, packed with mainly Rovers fans, noisily chatting. When the teams came out, they lined up to remember the 96 Liverpool fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough.
Immediately the pub became silent. I thought what a respectful crowd the Rovers fans are. Jack Walker would have been proud of them.
ALLAN WEST, Blackburn.
