I AM pleased Mrs Johnson (LT, November 6) has quite recently corrected my letter about lack of availability for street maps of Blackburn for visitors.
How our paths failed to cross I don't know, or why I was informed no street map was available, who knows?
Key sources for availability of such maps should be at points of arrival (rail, bus stations and manned car parks). Perhaps our letters will prompt the key sources to emulate the cathedral.
