I LIVE in a terrace house in Darwen where I have a wheelie bin, a bottle bank and a newspaper sack which I have to store in a small back yard, with wheelie bin collections once a fortnight but I am happy to recycle.
In Osbaldeston, they don't have wheelie bins, bottle banks etc.
All refuse and rubbish goes into black bin bags which are then placed at the side of the lane and collected every week.
No recycling takes place even though the space these properties have for storing recycling equipment far exceeds my tiny back yard.
Is this one law for the rich and one for everyone else?
