IN reply to Samur Afzal's article about the lack of tolerance to British Muslims.
I feel it might be hard for the average British person to understand.
For example, if you are born in say Holland, you are Dutch-Germany, Germany, and most other countries follow suit.
In England, born and bred we are British.
Yet the Asians born here wish to be known as British Muslims.
The English don't add their faith behind their nationality, eg British Church of England, or British Roman Catholic.
This expression, as innocent as it sounds, tends to isolate and makes for a feeling of separation in our society.
