IN reply to S Dolan, in your own words, it is up to the dog owner to keep it under control. One day you might not be quick enough in giving your warning. Is your dog muzzled? If your dog isn't muzzled when out and you know it doesn't like children, then you are being very irresponsible to think that you could never be in a similar situation.
Give a dog a second chance? Like many people, how could you ever trust this dog again, and for all those that think it was unfair that it was destroyed, how come you never stepped in and took it home yourselves?
