IN reply to Mr S Dolan's letter regarding the child savaged by a dog (LT May 4). His statement "I was very upset to hear they had decided to have the dog put down. Every dog deserves a second chance."
So, Mr Dolan, are we to give the animal a second chance to attack, savage or maybe even kill next time?
No! Destroy the animal immediately along with all the other animals like child molesters/rapists and the like, who are frequently given a slap on the wrist, told not to do it again and released back into the community to swiftly offend again.
Every dog has his day so the saying goes, let's make sure he does.
