TO issue Mr Ming Fu (LT, May 1) with a £30 parking ticket for parking in the town centre while he was organising a Chinese Lion Dance to fetch some colour and culture to this dreary town we call Blackburn beggars belief.
He also provided free of charge to council and shopping VIPs a meal at his Cantonese restaurant to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
It just shows what a grabbing, pathetic council we have.
They would be far better employed getting the rubbish fiasco sorted out.
