YES, yes, yes, let us have a big DIY store in Clitheroe, it is a nuisance having to travel out of town for cheap DIY items.
Jonathan Easton only seems concerned with the design of the porch for the Homebase store.
This can easily be changed. There would not be insufficient trade to support the store as Dawsons suggested, as most people have to go out of town to get most DIY items.
We need a good store stocking cheaper DIY items. Dawsons have the monopoly, we want more choice.
