It was delightful to hear Rossendale's young Grace O'Malley again serenading the Chelsea Pensioners in their London home (15 Feb).
Her choice of music was perfect for the rapt audience and included classical favourites, beautiful songs from the musicals, wartime hits and even some Elvis (Wooden Heart and Love Me Tender).
Grace performed with an assurance and style far beyond her years (not quite 16).Wearing a full-length maroon dress in the first part and a shimmering blue number after the interval, she looked the proverbial million dollars!
It was no wonder when guests responded with a standing ovation.
This young lady, who has just released her latest album Enchanted (all funds to PETAL, a childhood cancer research charity), has what it takes to have a very bright future in the world of song.
