NOW that the bowling season has come to a close, wouldn't it be an ideal opportunity for the council to upgrade the facilities at Green Park bowling green in Blackburn.
The pavilion is badly in need of repair and modernising. The disabled facilities are non-existent and we lack decent seating outside for spectators. We at Green Park are mystified as to why we are always the poor relations when it comes down to money being allocated for improvements.
Green Park deserves better. We have as many as 14 teams competing at different levels, young and old.
So come on and start the ball rolling.
